Times Higher Education (THE) and the United Nations Environment Programme are launching a global call to action. We will exclusively reveal the findings from a new global survey identifying the most common obstacles to meeting the skills gap. This session will invite institutions to join a unique, new international initiative designed to encourage unorthodox approaches, establish new metrics and produce new tools for policymakers and investors to help them overcome those obstacles.

Official launch of the “International Green Learning and Skills Accelerator”
Created by UNEP and Times Higher Education, the Accelerator is intended to catalyse and advance the contribution of higher and further education towards the global transition to a net zero and nature positive future.
The Accelerator has been created to overcome boundaries, build new coalitions and rapidly accelerate change. In support of the the Green Jobs for Youth Pact, the Accelerator aims to utilise the global breadth of the worldʼs most ambitious learning institutions and explore how in collaboration with employers and governments, a new educational offer for learners and youth can be provided.
